This ebook is
a digital reprint of a 1901 Victorian magazine. The Delineator
was a women’s fashion magazine published in the United States by
the New York Butterick Publishing Company, Ltd. from 1873 to
1937. Then, as now, the Butterick name was associated with
sewing patterns. Each issue of The Delineator featured
sewing patterns for women, children and even dolls. These
patterns were marketed towards women of modest means who would
make their clothes at home. The Delineator would also
include articles on household management, crafts, etiquette,
fiction, and more. Moreover, there are pages and pages of
illustrated period advertisements ... a great resource for the
collector or historian.
